Music Stage

Custom Project - prior to June 2017

One of the oddest Lego-compatible sets I've ever ended up with was the Lite Brix Peanuts Movie School Dance set.

Honestly, I found it for a few bucks, and got it to give my daughter the Sally character (she played Sally in a play we worked on together). Which left me with a stage to do something with. When you press a button on the backside of it (or push it too far onto a shelf), it plays the Peanuts song. So I adapted it a bit, using the stage to display all my musical instruments.

I built up the back of the stage a bit, removing the curtain/doghouse ensemble, and setting up hooks to hold various instruments. I have guitars (both electric and acoustic), a couple of pianos (one of which moved to a different set), drums, maracas, a saxophone, panpipes (currently in use by a D&D character), a lyre, and a violin. I set up a little DJ stand in the middle, along with some microphones, and then grabbed all the Azari minidolls I had. I had gotten them from several different sources, so I changed up their clothes a bit and decided I have an all-clone band (or quintuplets).

I also kept the Schroeder figure there - I guess he's their bouncer/roadie.
